Fleece, sherpa or faux fur: understanding blanket textures

A blanket’s fabric description helps explain its surface feel. It does not replace the actual dimensions, construction or care instructions.

Fleece often has a soft uniform texture, sherpa has a more textured surface and faux fur has a different pile. Layered products may use distinct fabrics on the two sides. Check both sides and any listed fabric weight.
